Alejandro Chab is a Photographer born in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

He graduated the National Institute of Cinematography and specialised in directing.

He has devoted himself to the realisation and production of advertising spots, directing over 500 shorts for brands such as: Ford, Greenpeace, Nestlé, Coca-Cola, Pfizer, Bagó, Akapol, Topper, Banco del Buen Ayre, Philips, Roche, Clarín, Burger King, etc. for over 30 years.
He has received over 30 national and international prizes, including those awarded by film festivals such as: FIAP, New York, CLIO, Cannes, Festival de la Creatividad, Mexico, etc.
He has written various scripts, many of which have been nominated in the Film Festival of Havana, Cuba.
He is currently collaborating with Art Basel Cities.
Many of his works were selected on different editions of the contest Gente de mi Ciudad, Buenos Aires.
Parallel to his teaching career, he has delivered several conferences at the University of Business and Social Sciences in Buenos Aires, as part of the teacher staff of “Expressive Media” at the Faculty of Architecture, Design and Urbanism of Buenos Aires University, and as a chair-holder on the subject “Advertising Cinema” at the Fundación Universidad del Cine.
